Ich über mich

Ich bin 46 Jahre alt, verheiratet und glückliche Mutter eines Kindes.

Ich bin staatl. anerkannte Dipl.-Sozialpädagogin und habe im Sommer 2021 meine Ausbildung zur Doula bei „Doulas in Deutschland“ abgeschlossen.

In den letzten Jahren verdiene ich meinen Lebensunterhalt am Theater und im Organisationsbereich verschiedener Kunsthochschulen.

Beginnend mit einem halbjährigen Kreissaalpraktikum vor 20 Jahren hat mich der Wunsch Frauen bei Geburten zu begleiten nie losgelassen und ist durch viele Erfahrungen immer wieder angefacht worden. Damals durch den unbedingten Glauben, dass es schöner gehen muss als beim Praktikum erlebt und heute durch das Wissen, wie schön und bewegend und zart eine Geburt sein kann.

Vielleicht kann ich Dir als Doula und ausgebildete Sozialpädagogin auch behilflich sein, wenn Deutschland nicht Dein Herkunftsland ist.

Me about myself

I am 46 years old, married, and the happy mother of one child.

I am a state-recognized qualified social worker and completed my training as a doula at “Doulas in Germany” in the summer of 2021.

I earn my primary living in the theater and through organizing various art colleges.

I’ve had the desire to accompany women during birth for over 20 years, starting with a six-month internship in a labor ward. This desire has never left me, and it has been fueled again and again by many experiences. Back then, I was interested in becoming a birth worker because of my absolute conviction that birth could and should be much better for mothers than what I experienced during that internship; today, I remain passionate about this work because I know how beautiful, moving, and even tender birth can be.

I speak German and English. I enjoy working with international mothers, helping them to prepare for and navigate giving birth in Germany
